Love, Chartwells | Teaching Kitchens | Student Events |

Love, Chartwells is a way to engage our students who aren't around our dining facilities as often. We go out into the campus to pass out free treats to unsuspecting students to let them know we care. I create tags and stickers to go with the treats so they can follow us on social media.
Teaching Kitchens invite students to get their hands dirty and learn about less common ingredients while assembling their own dishes, all with our executive chef.

McNeese Dining​
Part of my responsibilities as a marketing assistant is to photograph some of the food we prepare such as new dishes and food events, including student and catered events. During the fall semester 2019, we enhanced our menu in response to student feedback to accommodate a growing vegan community on campus. Part of our goal was to present our new dishes in a way that would be enticing to non-vegans as well to encourage our guests to try something new.

I've enjoyed photography since I was about 9 years old, snapping photos of the world around me, anywhere I go. It was until my late 20s that I started shooting photos semi-professionally after a friend asked me to do a graduation shoot for her in 2014. From then on, I have photographed special events for friends from baptisms and birthdays to holiday photos and small weddings.

Lines & Perspective
ARTIST VISION
"I'd Rather See the World From Another Angle."
My eye has always been drawn to the play between lines and perspective and I reflect that in much of my photography. I based my senior thesis on this theme and showcased photos that I have taken on my travels. I have since taken more photos with the same theme to show the everyday world in a way that not everyone allows themselves to see. My travels have taken me to places like New Orleans, Los Angeles, New York City, Washington D.C., even to Hawaii, and all the way to Paris. I love travelling and photographing , and hope to see even more of the world.
